1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 88
 1-2           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pride in
 1-3     recognizing Sharon Pamela Clark and Kevin Robert Peska on the
 1-4     joyful occasion of their marriage on January 31, 1999; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, The traditional religious ceremony will take
 1-6     place at the Junior League of Houston in Houston, Texas; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, Rabbi Howard Siegel and Cantor Steve Berke of the
 1-8     Congregation Brith Shalom will officiate at the joining of the
 1-9     outstanding young couple in marriage; and
1-10           WHEREAS, When Sharon moved to Washington, D.C., she was
1-11     given Kevin's name by one of her friends who was married to
1-12     Kevin's law school roommate; and
1-13           WHEREAS, Love blossomed between the dedicated young social
1-14     worker and the promising young lawyer who both love sports; now,
1-15     therefore, be it
1-16           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-17     76th Legislature, hereby honor the prevailing of true love
1-18     on Superbowl Sunday when Sharon Pamela Clark and Kevin Robert Peska
1-19     will be wed and congratulate the young couple on this special and
1-20     sacred occasion with best wishes to them for much happiness in
1-21     the future; and, be it further
1-22           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared
1-23     for them as an expression of regard from the Texas Senate.
