1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 111
 1-2           WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is proud to recognize
 1-3     Christopher Marc Neff of Longview, Texas, on achieving the
 1-4     rank of Eagle Scout; this fine young man joined the elite corps of
 1-5     Eagles recently and was presented the coveted Eagle Badge at a
 1-6     Court of Honor; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, Few achieve this distinguished honor; only two out
 1-8     of every 100 boys in the Boy Scout program ever attain the rank
 1-9     of Eagle Scout; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
1-11     promise, Christopher advanced through the ranks of Tenderfoot,
1-12     Second, First, Star, and Life classes before reaching Eagle Scout;
1-13     and
1-14           WHEREAS, This personable young man has displayed leadership
1-15     through planning, developing, and conducting a service project;
1-16     he is truly a shining example to his fellow Scouts and citizens
1-17     of his community; and
1-18           WHEREAS, In being named Eagle Scout, Christopher brings
1-19     great honor to himself, his family, his troop, his community, and
1-20     his state; now, therefore, be it
1-21           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-22     76th Legislature, hereby commend Christopher Marc Neff on
1-23     receiving this prestigious honor and congratulate him on his
1-24     outstanding achievement; and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-2     Eagle Scout Neff as an expression of high regard and esteem
 2-3     from the Texas Senate.
