1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 237 1-2 In Memory 1-3 of 1-4 Kevin Thomas Russell 1-5 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens 1-6 of Abilene in mourning the loss of Kevin Thomas Russell, who died 1-7 February 6, 1999, at the age of 38; and 1-8 WHEREAS, Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kevin Russell 1-9 married Diane Eubanks in 1982; he moved to Abilene six years ago 1-10 from Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio; and 1-11 WHEREAS, Mr. Russell was dedicated to his work in aircraft 1-12 maintenance with the 39th Airlift Squadron at Dyess Air Force 1-13 Base; he retired in February after over 18 years of service in 1-14 the Air Force; and 1-15 WHEREAS, An exemplary gentleman, Kevin Russell was respected 1-16 in the community for his many accomplishments; and 1-17 WHEREAS, A man of integrity, strength, and generosity, he 1-18 gave unselfishly of his time to others, and his wisdom, warmth, 1-19 and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him; 1-20 and 1-21 WHEREAS, Kevin Russell was a devoted husband and father, and 1-22 he leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by his 1-23 family and many friends; now, therefore, be it 1-24 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-1 76th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved 2-2 family of Kevin Thomas Russell: his wife, Diane Eubanks Russell; 2-3 his sons, Kevin Thomas Russell, Jr., Kenneth Ray Russell, and 2-4 Wesley Alan Russell; his father, Harold H.
