1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 262 1-2 In Memory 1-3 of 1-4 Sylvia Gloria Larralde 1-5 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas mourns the loss 1-6 of Sylvia Gloria Larralde, who died on February 7, 1999, at the 1-7 age of 64; and 1-8 WHEREAS, Born on July 8, 1934, in San Antonio, Texas, 1-9 Mrs. Larralde was a dedicated homemaker; and 1-10 WHEREAS, An exemplary woman, Mrs. Larralde was respected for 1-11 her many accomplishments and was a beloved leader in her community; 1-12 and 1-13 WHEREAS, A woman of integrity, strength, and generosity, 1-14 she gave unselfishly of her time to others, and her wisdom, warmth, 1-15 and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew her; and 1-16 WHEREAS, Sylvia Larralde was a devoted wife and mother, and 1-17 she leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by her 1-18 family and many friends; now, therefore, be it 1-19 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-20 76th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the 1-21 family of Sylvia Gloria Larralde: her husband, Raymond; her 1-22 stepson, Larry; her grandchildren, Marshall and Leigh; her 1-23 sisters, Thelma Neaves, Emma Herrera, Consuelo Garza, Mary Gomez, 1-24 Adelina Herrera, and Josie Mancha; and her brothers, Gene Herrera, 2-1 John Herrera, Blas Herrera, and Pete Herrera; and, be it further 2-2 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the 2-3 members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the 2-4 Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so 2-5 in memory of Sylvia Gloria Larralde. 2-6 Luna 2-7 ______________________________________ 2-8 President of the Senate 2-9 I hereby certify that the above 2-10 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-11 on February 22, 1999, by a rising vote. 2-12 ______________________________________ 2-13 Secretary of the Senate 2-14 ______________________________________ 2-15 Member, Texas Senate
