1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 316
 1-2           WHEREAS, Katherine Allen and Thomas Earl Rainbolt placed
 1-3     great faith and trust in the future when they married on
 1-4     January 17, 1949, and they have been amply rewarded as they
 1-5     recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the years
 1-7     of their marriage, yet Mr. and Mrs. Rainbolt, of Waxahachie, Texas,
 1-8     have steadfastly embraced traditional family and moral values; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, Over the years, they have grown stronger in their
1-10     love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and
1-11     sorrows of everyday living; and
1-12           WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Rainbolt have been blessed with a
1-13     wonderful family; their three children, seven grandchildren,
1-14     and three great-grandchildren have been a source of much pride
1-15     and joy; and
1-16           WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Rainbolt are exemplary citizens who
1-17     have formed many deep and lasting friendships in their community;
1-18     they are both retired owners of a grocery business; and
1-19           WHEREAS, The long and happy union of Mr. and Mrs. Rainbolt
1-20     is truly an inspiration to us all; now, therefore, be it
1-21           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-22     76th Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations
1-23     to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Earl Rainbolt on their 50th wedding
1-24     anniversary; and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-2     this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in
 2-3     their lives.
