1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 332 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas congratulates 1-3 14-year-old Kristin Hart on her phenomenal success as a country 1-4 western singer; and 1-5 WHEREAS, Although she always enjoyed singing, Kristin's 1-6 professional training first began in 1991 with Humphrey's School 1-7 of Musical Theatre at Theatre Under The Stars, and her style was 1-8 improved by Jessica Shepard of Debbie Beinhorn's Singers Workshop 1-9 Studios when she was on tour with Encore Youth Performers in 1994 1-10 through 1996; she continues her training with Debbie Beinhorn's 1-11 talented coaches today; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Even though Kristin maintains a demanding 1-13 performance schedule, her first priority is her school work, which 1-14 fortunately comes easily for her, and she continues to also excel 1-15 as an honor student and enjoy school-related activities with her 1-16 friends; and 1-17 WHEREAS, Kristin's invitation to sing at the Houston 1-18 Livestock Show and Rodeo was an enviable achievement because 1-19 almost any professional country western performer several times 1-20 her age would accept such an opportunity; and 1-21 WHEREAS, Other performances to her credit include Johnnie High 1-22 Country Music Revue in Arlington, Texas; Texas Opry Jamboree in 1-23 Magnolia, Texas; and Disney World in Orlando, Florida; and 1-24 WHEREAS, Kristin's resume is long for such a new 2-1 entertainer, and in addition to her many other credits, it 2-2 includes her performances for charity events which she considers 2-3 as an important part of her life; now, therefore, be it 2-4 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-5 76th Legislature, hereby commend Kristin Hart for her success as 2-6 a talented country western singer and as an exemplary young Texan; 2-7 and, be it further 2-8 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be presented to 2-9 Kristin as an expression of esteem by the Texas Senate. 2-10 Gallegos 2-11 ______________________________________ 2-12 President of the Senate 2-13 I hereby certify that the above 2-14 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-15 on March 11, 1999. 2-16 ______________________________________ 2-17 Secretary of the Senate 2-18 ______________________________________ 2-19 Member, Texas Senate
