1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 337
 1-2           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas, 76th Legislature,
 1-3     takes pleasure in congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Ben Tonick of
 1-4     Dallas, Texas, on the momentous occasion of their 64th wedding
 1-5     anniversary; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, Ben and Velma Tonick entered into the bonds of holy
 1-7     matrimony on February 9, 1935, in Nolanville, Texas, and formed an
 1-8     ideal relationship based on loyalty and understanding; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, The achievement of this important milestone is
1-10     the result of the love, devotion, and mutual respect of two
1-11     outstanding individuals; and
1-12           WHEREAS, God's grace and blessings have been bestowed in
1-13     abundance on the esteemed couple, who steadfastly embraced
1-14     traditional Christian values and provided a happy and secure
1-15     homelife for their three children; they were blessed with five
1-16     grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who have been the
1-17     source of much joy and pride; and
1-18           WHEREAS, The long and happy union of Ben and Velma Tonick
1-19     has been an inspiration to all who know them; now, therefore,
1-20     be it
1-21           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-22     76th Legislature, hereby commend Ben and Velma Tonick on
1-23     their 64 years of marriage and extend heartfelt best wishes
1-24     for continued happiness and good health; and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-2     this distinguished couple as a memento of this joyous day in
 2-3     their lives.
