 1-3                                  In Memory
 1-4                                     of
 1-5                               Harold C. Todd
 1-6           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens
 1-7     of New Braunfels in mourning the loss of Harold C. Todd, who died
 1-8     on February 21, 1999, at the age of 75; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, In 1973 Mr. Todd retired from his civil service
1-10     work at Kelly Air Force Base and moved to Marble Falls, where he
1-11     contributed to the community through his service on the city
1-12     council; and
1-13           WHEREAS, Mr. Todd relocated to New Braunfels in 1993,
1-14     where he was a dedicated member of the Lonnie Irvin Daylight
1-15     Lodge Number 1309 AF&AM, the Alzafar Shrine, and the Scottish
1-16     Rite; he was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star
1-17     San Antonio Radiant Chapter Number 3 and served as past Grand
1-18     Patron of the State of Texas of the Order of the Eastern Star;
1-19     and
1-20           WHEREAS, An exemplary and distinguished gentleman,
1-21     Mr. Todd was respected for his many accomplishments and was
1-22     a beloved leader in his community; and
1-23           WHEREAS, A man of integrity, strength, and generosity, he
1-24     gave unselfishly of his time to others, and his wisdom, warmth,
 2-1     and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him;
 2-2     and
 2-3           WHEREAS, Harold Todd was a devoted and loving husband and
 2-4     father; now, therefore, be it
 2-5           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-6     76th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the family
 2-7     of Harold C. Todd:  his wife, Cleta; his daughters, Sharon Vick and
 2-8     Tammie Williams; and his two grandchildren and great-grandchild;
 2-9     and, be it further
2-10           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
2-11     members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the
2-12     Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so
2-13     in memory of Harold C. Todd.
