1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 456 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure 1-3 in recognizing the Brenham State School on its 25th anniversary 1-4 of outstanding service to the State of Texas; and 1-5 WHEREAS, On March 26, 1999, there will be a gathering 1-6 to celebrate the silver anniversary of this school and its 1-7 wonderful accomplishments; the Brenham State School is well 1-8 known as one of the most caring and efficient schools in the 1-9 state; and 1-10 WHEREAS, The faculty, staff, and parents are proud of 1-11 the school's dedication to providing health care and human 1-12 development services and to promoting personal growth and 1-13 satisfaction; and 1-14 WHEREAS, Brenham State School has been a supportive 1-15 neighbor for the City of Brenham since it is an excellent 1-16 resource and major employer; and 1-17 WHEREAS, The compassion and support of the staff, 1-18 administrators, and volunteers help the clients of the Brenham 1-19 State School lead more independent and dignified lives; now, 1-20 therefore, be it 1-21 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-22 76th Legislature, hereby commend the Brenham State School 1-23 on its silver anniversary; and, be it further 1-24 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 2-1 the school as an expression of the highest regard and esteem 2-2 of the Texas Senate. 2-3 Ogden 2-4 ______________________________________ 2-5 President of the Senate 2-6 I hereby certify that the above 2-7 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-8 on March 22, 1999. 2-9 ______________________________________ 2-10 Secretary of the Senate 2-11 ______________________________________ 2-12 Member, Texas Senate
