1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 509
 1-2           WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is proud to recognize
 1-3     Timothy William Rinko-Gay of Houston on achieving the rank
 1-4     of Eagle Scout; this fine young man joined the elite corps of
 1-5     Eagles recently and was presented the coveted Eagle Badge at a
 1-6     Court of Honor; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, Few achieve this distinguished honor; only two out
 1-8     of every 100 boys in the Boy Scout program ever attain the rank of
 1-9     Eagle Scout; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
1-11     promise, Timothy advanced through the ranks of Tenderfoot, Second,
1-12     First, Star, and Life classes before reaching Eagle Scout; and
1-13           WHEREAS, This personable young man has displayed leadership
1-14     through planning, developing, and conducting a service project; he
1-15     is truly a shining example to his fellow Scouts and citizens of his
1-16     community; and
1-17           WHEREAS, In being named Eagle Scout, Timothy brings great
1-18     honor to himself, his family, his troop, his community, and his
1-19     state; now, therefore, be it
1-20           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-21     76th Legislature, hereby commend Timothy William Rinko-Gay of
1-22     Troop 626 on receiving this prestigious honor and congratulate
1-23     him on his outstanding achievement; and, be it further
1-24           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-1     Eagle Scout Rinko-Gay as an expression of high regard and esteem
 2-2     from the Texas Senate.
