1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 548
 1-2           WHEREAS, Only an elite group in the history of the
 1-3     Royal Rangers ministry has ever been awarded the Gold Medal of
 1-4     Achievement, yet Benjamin Broussard of Spring has attained the
 1-5     highest honor available in this program; and
 1-6           WHEREAS, Exemplifying self-discipline, confidence,
 1-7     leadership and a deep-rooted belief in Jesus Christ, this fine
 1-8     young man has proved himself to be a model Trailblazer in all
 1-9     aspects of the Royal Ranger Code; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Benjamin is one of the youngest in the nation
1-11     to ever receive this distinction; determination and self-reliance
1-12     advanced him through the ranks of Recruit, Second Class, First
1-13     Class, Advanced, Master, and Explorer to the ultimate goal - the
1-14     Gold Medal of Achievement; and
1-15           WHEREAS, This dedicated and personable young man has
1-16     brought great distinction to himself, his family, his outpost,
1-17     his community, and his state; and
1-18           WHEREAS, Benjamin is truly an exceptional representative of
1-19     the State of Texas and a sterling example to all who are fortunate
1-20     to know him; now, therefore, be it
1-21           RESOLVED, That the State of Texas, 76th Legislature, hereby
1-22     commend and applaud Benjamin Broussard of Outpost 194 in recognition
1-23     of his great achievement; and, be it further
1-24           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-1     Benjamin Broussard as an expression of high regard from the
 2-2     Texas Senate.
