1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 639 1-2 WHEREAS, Andrew Schneider of Spring has recently been honored 1-3 by the Boy Scout program for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and 1-4 WHEREAS, After planning, developing, and coordinating a service 1-5 project through which the community was benefitted, this fine young 1-6 gentleman was recognized as an able and outstanding leader; and 1-7 WHEREAS, Andrew brings great honor to himself in earning the 1-8 coveted Eagle Badge; his family, troop, community, and state are 1-9 justly proud of his great accomplishments; and 1-10 WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and 1-11 promise, this personable young man advanced through the ranks of 1-12 Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before reaching 1-13 Eagle Scout; and 1-14 WHEREAS, Andrew has become one of the privileged few to 1-15 achieve this prestigious honor and is a glowing example to all 1-16 citizens of Texas; now, therefore, be it 1-17 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-18 76th Legislature, hereby commend Andrew Schneider of Troop 878 on 1-19 receiving this esteemed honor and congratulate him on his great 1-20 achievement; and, be it further 1-21 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 1-22 Eagle Scout Schneider as an expression of great admiration from the 1-23 Texas Senate. 1-24 Lindsay 2-1 ______________________________________ 2-2 President of the Senate 2-3 I hereby certify that the above 2-4 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-5 on April 14, 1999. 2-6 ______________________________________ 2-7 Secretary of the Senate 2-8 ______________________________________ 2-9 Member, Texas Senate
