1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 665
 1-2           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
 1-3     recognize Lucille Rochs for her years of outstanding service
 1-4     as a city council member in the City of Fredericksburg; and
 1-5           WHEREAS, A leading city council member, Lucille Rochs has
 1-6     helped to coordinate the goals and activities of the council
 1-7     for many years, and she is well known for her expertise on city
 1-8     issues and area concerns; and
 1-9           WHEREAS, Devoted to the Fredericksburg community and to the
1-10     work of the council, Lucille has used her superior organizational
1-11     and administrative skills to manage effectively the far-reaching
1-12     responsibilities of a council member's position; and
1-13           WHEREAS, An exemplary and distinguished lady, Lucille has
1-14     contributed significantly to the harmony of a growing city, and
1-15     the Fredericksburg community has greatly benefitted from her
1-16     dedication and generous spirit; and
1-17           WHEREAS, As a tribute to Lucille's years of hard work, the
1-18     City of Fredericksburg is hosting a reception in her honor at
1-19     the newly renovated Tatsch House at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal
1-20     Park on April 20, 1999; now, therefore, be it
1-21           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-22     76th Legislature, hereby commend Lucille Rochs for her many
1-23     years of able leadership on the Fredericksburg City Council
1-24     and extend to her best wishes for the future; and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-2     her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
