1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 730 1-2 In Memory 1-3 of 1-4 Gerardo Toscano 1-5 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens 1-6 of San Antonio in mourning the loss of Gerardo Toscano, who died 1-7 March 22, 1999, at the age of 53; and 1-8 WHEREAS, An exemplary gentleman, Jerry Toscano was respected 1-9 in the community for his many accomplishments and for the valor 1-10 he showed in the face of his illness over the last nine years; and 1-11 WHEREAS, A man of integrity, strength, and generosity, he 1-12 gave unselfishly of his time to others, and his wisdom, warmth, 1-13 and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him; 1-14 and 1-15 WHEREAS, Jerry was a member of the Catholic faith and was 1-16 devoted to his mother, daughter, sisters, and brothers, and he 1-17 leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by his family 1-18 and many friends; now, therefore, be it 1-19 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-20 76th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the 1-21 family of Gerardo Toscano: his daughter, Maria S. Toscano; his 1-22 mother, Tomasita C.
