1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 764 1-2 WHEREAS, The wedding anniversary of two outstanding Texans 1-3 who have shared 50 happy and rewarding years of marriage is truly 1-4 a memorable occasion worthy of honor and praise; and 1-5 WHEREAS, H. Clay "Sonny" and Elizabeth Ann Reeves Warnock of 1-6 Fort Stockton were united in matrimony on August 24, 1949, in 1-7 Marathon, Texas; this devoted couple lived in Hico and Lawn before 1-8 returning to Fort Stockton to live in 1953; and 1-9 WHEREAS, Sonny and Elizabeth have been blessed with a fine 1-10 family which includes Gwen Warnock Grigsby and her husband, 1-11 Tony Grigsby, of Round Rock, Ann Warnock Moseley and her husband, 1-12 Randy Moseley, of Mertzon, and Seth Clay Warnock and his wife, 1-13 Bonnie, of Fort Stockton, and four grandchildren; and 1-14 WHEREAS, Sonny and Elizabeth have many full-time jobs 1-15 including owning and operating the Warnock Dairy since 1969 in 1-16 Fort Stockton, operating a three-section ranch near Barnhart since 1-17 1976, and farming the family farm in Fort Stockton; and 1-18 WHEREAS, For a half century, Sonny and Elizabeth have had 1-19 many happy times and fond family memories, and it is truly fitting 1-20 that they be recognized at this time; now, therefore, be it 1-21 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-22 76th Legislature, hereby honor Sonny and Elizabeth Warnock on 1-23 their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best 1-24 wishes for continued success and happiness in the many years to 2-1 come; and, be it further 2-2 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be 2-3 prepared for Sonny and Elizabeth Warnock as an expression of high 2-4 regard from the Texas Senate. 2-5 Madla 2-6 ______________________________________ 2-7 President of the Senate 2-8 I hereby certify that the above 2-9 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-10 on April 28, 1999. 2-11 ______________________________________ 2-12 Secretary of the Senate 2-13 ______________________________________ 2-14 Member, Texas Senate
