1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 806 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to 1-3 recognize Albert N. Thompson for his nearly 50 years of loyal 1-4 service at Texas Southern University; and 1-5 WHEREAS, Professor Thompson taught Counseling/Psychology 1-6 until his retirement; and 1-7 WHEREAS, During his years with Texas Southern University, 1-8 Professor Thompson had a positive influence on all those with 1-9 whom he was associated; and 1-10 WHEREAS, Devoted to Texas Southern University and to his 1-11 work, he was committed to providing a superior educational 1-12 environment for students from all parts of Texas and across 1-13 the nation; and 1-14 WHEREAS, Through his dedication and many years of hard work, 1-15 Professor Thompson helped to make Texas Southern University 1-16 the high-quality institution it is today; now, therefore, be it 1-17 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-18 76th Legislature, hereby commend Albert N.
