1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 975
 1-2           WHEREAS, Jason B. Young of Houston has recently been honored
 1-3     by the Boy Scout program for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and
 1-4           WHEREAS, After planning, developing, and coordinating a
 1-5     service project through which the community was benefitted, this
 1-6     fine young gentleman was recognized as an able and outstanding
 1-7     leader; and
 1-8           WHEREAS, Jason brings great honor to himself in earning the
 1-9     coveted Eagle Badge; his family, troop, community, and state are
1-10     justly proud of his great accomplishments; and
1-11           WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
1-12     promise, this personable young man advanced through the ranks of
1-13     Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before reaching
1-14     Eagle Scout; and
1-15           WHEREAS, Jason has become one of the privileged few to
1-16     achieve this prestigious honor and is a glowing example to all
1-17     citizens of Texas; now, therefore, be it
1-18           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-19     76th Legislature, hereby commend Jason B. Young of Troop 1550 on
1-20     receiving this esteemed honor and congratulate him on his great
1-21     achievement; and, be it further
 2-1           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-2     Eagle Scout Young as an expression of great admiration from the
 2-3     Texas Senate.
