1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 980 1-2 WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is pleased to recognize 1-3 Robert Brownfield, husband of Yvonne Brownfield, who served 1-4 as Worthy Grand Matron, Grand Chapter of Texas, Order of the 1-5 Eastern Star for the term of 1997-1998; and 1-6 WHEREAS, This distinguished gentleman was a friend and 1-7 a confidant during Mrs. Brownfield's term of office; and 1-8 WHEREAS, During 1997 and 1998, Robert Brownfield was a 1-9 dedicated supporter of his spouse while she fulfilled her duties 1-10 as Worthy Grand Matron; and 1-11 WHEREAS, The love and devotion Mr. and Mrs. Brownfield share 1-12 have been a source of strength during the year she held office; and 1-13 WHEREAS, The State of Texas and the Order of the Eastern Star 1-14 greatly appreciate Robert Brownfield's steadfast support of his wife 1-15 during her term of office; now, therefore, be it 1-16 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-17 76th Legislature, hereby commend Robert Brownfield for giving 1-18 consistent encouragement to Mrs. Brownfield; and, be it further 1-19 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him 1-20 as an expression of the high regard of the Texas Senate. 2-1 Fraser 2-2 ______________________________________ 2-3 President of the Senate 2-4 I hereby certify that the above 2-5 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-6 on May 13, 1999. 2-7 ______________________________________ 2-8 Secretary of the Senate 2-9 ______________________________________ 2-10 Member, Texas Senate
