1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 985 1-2 WHEREAS, On May 27, 1999, Angelina Eldora Dominguez will be 1-3 awarded her diploma from the Texas School for the Deaf, and the 1-4 Texas Senate is pleased to honor her; and 1-5 WHEREAS, Commencement exercises will be held in the 1-6 R. L. Davis auditorium at the Texas School for the Deaf at 1-7 7 p.m.; Dr. Roslyn Rosen of Gallaudet University will speak at 1-8 the commencement; and 1-9 WHEREAS, Angelina's graduation is the culmination of years 1-10 of diligent study in a curriculum designed to challenge and broaden 1-11 her knowledge; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Angelina can take pride in having earned her diploma 1-13 from a school that is respected in academic circles in Texas as 1-14 well as nationally for its outstanding quality of instruction and 1-15 dedication to excellence; and 1-16 WHEREAS, Angelina can face the future with full confidence 1-17 that her accomplishments, learning skills, and acquired knowledge 1-18 will hold her in good stead in whatever path she chooses; and 1-19 WHEREAS, Upon her graduation, Angelina embarks on an 1-20 adventure into a world that holds countless exciting opportunities 1-21 for her; the family and friends of this remarkable young woman are 1-22 justifiably proud of her notable achievements; now, therefore, 1-23 be it 2-1 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-2 76th Legislature, hereby congratulate Angelina Eldora Dominguez on 2-3 her graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend best 2-4 wishes for success in her future endeavors; and, be it further 2-5 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her 2-6 as a memento of this important milestone in her life. 2-7 Cain 2-8 ______________________________________ 2-9 President of the Senate 2-10 I hereby certify that the above 2-11 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-12 on May 13, 1999. 2-13 ______________________________________ 2-14 Secretary of the Senate 2-15 ______________________________________ 2-16 Member, Texas Senate
