1-1                         SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1041
 1-2           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
 1-3     recognize Matthew Kammlah of Austin on achieving the rank of
 1-4     Eagle Scout; this fine young man joined the elite corps of Eagles
 1-5     recently and was presented the coveted Eagle Badge at a Court of
 1-6     Honor; and
 1-7           WHEREAS, Few achieve this distinguished honor; only two out
 1-8     of every 100 boys in the Boy Scout program ever attain the rank
 1-9     of Eagle Scout; and
1-10           WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
1-11     promise, Matthew advanced through the ranks of Tenderfoot,
1-12     Second, First, Star, and Life classes before reaching Eagle
1-13     Scout; and
1-14           WHEREAS, This personable young man has displayed leadership
1-15     through planning, developing, and conducting a service project;
1-16     he is truly a shining example to his fellow Scouts and citizens
1-17     of his community; and
1-18           WHEREAS, In being named Eagle Scout, Matthew brings great
1-19     honor to himself, his family, his troop, his community, and his
1-20     state; now, therefore, be it
1-21           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
 2-1     76th Legislature, hereby commend Matthew Kammlah of Troop 413
 2-2     on receiving this prestigious honor and congratulate him on his
 2-3     outstanding achievement; and, be it further
 2-4           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 2-5     Eagle Scout Kammlah as an expression of high regard and esteem
 2-6     from the Texas Senate.
