1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1061 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to 1-3 recognize Hamilton George Rucker on the auspicious occasion 1-4 of his graduation from Clear Creek High School on May 22, 1999; 1-5 and 1-6 WHEREAS, The son of Leslie and Mary Margaret Rucker and 1-7 the grandson of Sadie Rucker, Hamilton has participated in a number 1-8 of honors classes, including biology, Latin, and chemistry, and is 1-9 graduating with a 3.33 grade point average; and 1-10 WHEREAS, A respected and well-liked student, he has served 1-11 as a member of the student council and was a member of the 1-12 forensic team; he attended a Rice University Summer Enrichment 1-13 Program and a Texas A&M Honors Camp; and 1-14 WHEREAS, A star athlete, Hamilton excels as a basketball 1-15 player and has participated on the All-Region, All-State, 1-16 and All-County teams; he has earned the title of Most Valuable 1-17 Player for Clear Creek High School and has served as an instructor 1-18 at the Buddy Carlisle Basketball Camp for grades one through eight; 1-19 and 1-20 WHEREAS, Having faced the many challenges of a high school 1-21 education with success and distinction, Hamilton now embarks 2-1 on an adventure into a world for which he is well prepared and 2-2 which holds countless exciting opportunities for him; now, 2-3 therefore, be it 2-4 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-5 76th Legislature, hereby commend Hamilton George Rucker for 2-6 his notable accomplishments and extend to him best wishes for 2-7 the future; and, be it further 2-8 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 2-9 him as a token of congratulations from the Texas Senate. 2-10 Ellis 2-11 ______________________________________ 2-12 President of the Senate 2-13 I hereby certify that the above 2-14 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-15 on May 21, 1999. 2-16 ______________________________________ 2-17 Secretary of the Senate 2-18 ______________________________________ 2-19 Member, Texas Senate
