Local Government Impact
  
The fiscal impact to local government would depend upon the number of
county jail inmates assessed liability for the cost of confinement,
waived part or all of the costs, allowed to perform community service
restitution or work release in lieu of paying the costs, and the
inmates' ability to pay any assessments.
