Local Government Impact

In most cases, counties would be able to meet the time limits for plat
approval without significant additional cost. In some cases, counties
could incur additional costs associated with staff or engineering
consultants to meet the 60-day deadline for final action on a plat
application or the 90-day deadline if a takings impact statement is
required. The cost to counties would depend on the number and complexity
of plat applications processed in a given year.
