LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas
FISCAL NOTE, 76th Regular Session
February 21, 1999
TO: Honorable Bill Carter, Chair, House Committee on Urban
Affairs
FROM: John Keel, Director, Legislative Budget Board
IN RE: HB 508 by Wohlgemuth (Relating to interlocal contracts
for the construction, improvement, or repair of streets
and alleys in certain municipalities.), As Introduced
**************************************************************************
* No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. *

Local Government Impact
Any fiscal implications to local governments resulting from the bill's
passage should be positive, since a municipality and/or county could
realize savings by entering into interlocal contracts for infrastructure
projects as authorized by the bill. The amount of savings would depend
on the conditions of a particular contract.
