Fiscal Analysis

The bill would add blood pressure monitoring, diabetes treatment, and
minimal house cleaning to the definition of home health services.

Methodology

Revenues above are based on the assumption that the Department of Health
would be required to regulate entities providing minimal house cleaning
as a home health services provider, as the bill would add this function
to the list defining home health services as the provision of any one or
more of the services in the list.
Revenues shown above assume there are 2,863 entities in the state
providing house cleaning services that would each pay a fee to the
Department of Health of $300 to be regulated as home health agencies.

The department has identified no additional costs to regulate these
entities.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
