* No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. *
*                                                                        *
* The bill does not an appropriation but could provide the legal *
* basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of *
*  the bill.                                                             *

The bill would allow Texas A&M University at Galveston to offer graduate
programs, however the number of students who would enroll is estimated
to be very small and would not result in significant increases in
formula funding for general academic institutions.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
