Local Government Impact

A hospital district choosing to commission peace officers as a result of
the bill's enactment would be responsible for costs such officers
salaries, benefits, certification and licensing fees, and other
employment- related costs. The cost to a hosptial district would depend
mainly on the level of salaries and the number of peace officers
commissioned.
