Local Government Impact

Translation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) documents could
create significant costs for local school districts. Local costs would
depend on the length and number of IEP documents to be translated and the
meaning given to the terms "good faith effort" and "documentation that
a written translation is not feasible" present in the committee
substitute version of the bill.
