               University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center to offer
               certain professional degree programs), Committee Report

*  No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated under   *
*  the current funding method for the institution.                       *
*                                                                        *
*  The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal      *
*  basis for appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of       *
*  the bill.                                                             *

If the Legislature modifies the funding method and adopts funding
formulas for health-related institutions, The University of Texas M.D.
Anderson Cancer Center could be eligible to receive general revenue
funding for these degree programs beginning in 2002.
