functions of the Texas Commission for the Deaf and Hard

* The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal *
* basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of *
* the bill. *

The bill would amend the Human Resources Code to implement
recommendations of the Sunset Advisory Commission regarding the Texas
Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to continue the agency and
set the expiration date at September 1, 2007.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
