Local Government Impact

A municipal hospital authority located in a county with a population
between 35,000 and 225,000 which would choose to construct, acquire,
own, operate, enlarge, improve, furnish, or equip facilities or services
for the care of the elderly or disabled as a result of the bill's
enactment could incur both initial capital and on-going operational
costs. The cost would depend on the size and scope of facilities or
services provided or improved, whether new facilities would need to be
acquired or constructed and whether additional employees would be
required to staff such facilities or services.
