Local Government Impact

Local governments with voting facilities which currently do not meet the
door width and handrail requirements of the bill could incur costs
associated with the renovation and/or retrofitting of those facilities or
the relocation of polling places to comply with the proposed law. The
cost would depend on the number of facilities which would need to be
improved or moved.

It is not anticipated that the bill would have significant fiscal
implications to local governments with voting facilities currently
meeting the proposed door width and handrail requirements.
