Technology Impact
All costs of the bill would be attributable to technology impact.
Fiscal Analysis
The bill would allow the Department of Public Safety to issue a personal
identification certificate to an appointed or elected judge of a
municipal court or the justice of a justice court. The certificate
would expire on the expiration of the term of office. The Department
may not charge a fee for issuing the certificate.
Methodology
The Distributive Driver License System would require modification to
issue the special identification card. Contract programming of the
changes is estimated at $273,600.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
