Fiscal Analysis

The bill would create the State Transportation Council to develop a
statewide multimodal transportation plan.

Methodology

The Texas Department of Transportation, pursuant to provisions of the
bill, would be required to provide support to the Council. The
department estimated that staff time would be allocated and outside
technical assistance would be necessary in the development of the plan.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
