Although primarily amending the Parks and Wildlife Code to increase
penalties and fines for poaching, the Texas Parks and Wildlife
Department has estimated that it could produce a total revenue gain of
between $111,075 to $835,500 in fine revenue to the Game, Fish & Water
Safety Account, Fund 009.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
