and salvage property of certain institutions of higher

* basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of *
* the bill. *

The bill requires institutions of higher education transfer the surplus
property to public school districts, other state agencies or political
subdivisions and or assistance agencies.
The bill will have no fiscal impact on general revenue, but it could
affect transfer of equipment among system institutions.
Local Government Impact
There would be a positive impact on units of local government to the
extent that they receive equipment or other surplus property not
otherwise available to them.
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
