               and a code of conduct for sports and community venue
               districts in certain populous counties), As Introduced

The bill would restrict the use of eminent domain powers by sports and
community venue districts in Harris County.  The districts could only
use eminent domain to acquire a facility site as part of an approved
venue project.
  
Local Government Impact
  
No significant fiscal implication to statewide units of local government
is anticipated, since the provisions of the bill are restricted to the
Harris County/Houston Sports Authority.
