               certain motor vehicles for ad valorem tax purposes), As

The bill would remove a class of personal property from the definition of
motor vehicle.  This type of inventory (motor vehicles held for
conversion for a dealer by a person holding a state converter's license)
would be appraised and taxed under Sec. 23.12(a) of the Tax Code as
inventory other than motor vehicle inventory.
  
Local Government Impact
  
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
