Local Government Impact
The bill would allow a municipality with a population between 20,000 and
50,000 to enter into a contract with a developer in which the developer
would construct the improvements and the municipality would participate
in their cost, as determined by the contract. A municipality entering
into such a contract could be responsible for up to 30 percent of the
total contract price.
