The bill would require studies and strategic plans for the delivery of
long-term care, community services and other health services. The bill
would also direct the Texas Rehabilitation Commission to form a work
group on brain injury rehabilitation services which would include
representatives of the developers and providers of brain injury
rehabilitation facilities and consumers of brain injury services.
Reimbursement for travel and other expenses of the work group would
require authority in the General Appropriations Act.
