Fiscal Analysis

The bill would require the appointment of an advisory committee to
recommend the design of a coin commemorating Texas. The fiscal
implication includes the cost of travel and per diem for committee
meetings, fees for a consultant to assist in the design of the coin,
staff time and other operating costs.

Methodology

The estimated cost is based on four advisory committee meetings in FY
2000, and completing its recommendations to the Governor in FY 2000.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
