* basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of *
* the bill. *

The bill would amend Section 532.002, Health and Safety Code, to continue
the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation for twelve years,
and to set the date for the next Sunset review as September 1, 2011.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
