* No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. *

According to the Department of Health, the bill would strengthen the
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) Associate designation
currently defined under the department by providing for additional
statutory language without creating a new category for the licensee.
No new fees would be established nor revenue generated as a result of the
amendments to the LMFT Act. Any costs associated with these provisions
are anticipated to be absorbed with the agency resources.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
