The Senate Emergency Appropriations Bill (Senate Bill 472) includes $25 million from the General Revenue Fund to the TDA to pay costs and expenses related to the eradication of cotton pests for the current fiscal year. Methodology Total costs for the program are estimated to be up to $50 million for the 2000-01 biennium. A fifty-percent state share is assumed.
