Methodology The Pan American Games will occur in 2007, and the site selection will not be determined until the summer of 2002. This means the site selection could take place in fiscal 2002 or 2003. According to the United States Olympic Committee, San Antonio is the only city in Texas to be considered for the Pan American Games. The only other U.S. locations to be considered are North Carolina and south Florida. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
