records maintained or obtained by the comptroller of
public accounts of the State of Texas), Committee Report

Because the legislation could enhance the state's ability to enforce tax
laws, it could have a positive impact on tax revenues. Neither the
Office of the Comptroller or the Office of the Attorney General
contemplate any additional administrative costs as a result of the
passage of this bill.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
