Similar costs would continue through fiscal year 2005.

Fiscal Analysis

The bill would establish a ten-member Commission on Constitutional
Revision. Members would receive reimbursement for expenses and would be
authorized to employ staff. The commission would issue reports prior to
the next three regular sessions of the legislature. The commission
would be abolished on September 1, 2005.

Methodology

The estimate assumes that the commission would employ five staff members
beginning January 1, 2000. The estimate includes cost for travel,
office equipment, consumables and publication of required reports.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
