The task force would develop and implement an optimum organ allocation policy for Texas. It is assumed that the Department of Health could provide administrative support and services, in accordance with the provisions of the bill, withing existing resources. Reimbursement for travel and related expenses for members of the task force would require authorization in the General Appropriations Act.
