*  basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of    *
*  the bill.                                                             *

The bill could have an impact on the Medicaid reimbursement rate paid to
nursing facilities.  However, the Department of Human Services estimates
the impact would be insignificant.  It is assumed that any additional
responsibilities established by the bill could be absorbed within
existing resources.
  
Local Government Impact
  
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
