The bill would create the Finfish License Management Program to promote
efficiency and economic stability in the commercial finfish industry.
The bill would set up a Finfish License Management Review Board to
advise the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission. In addition, the bill
establishes conditions for license revocation and suspension and a
voluntary license buyback program.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
